During National Work Zone Awareness Week, NAPA continues to help move the needle forward, to ensure better protection of our nation’s road construction workers. On Wednesday April 17, at 1:00 pm ET, please join us for a highly informative session on steps WE can take to better ensure work zone safety (WZS). Over the last month, NAPA polled its members and state partners to better understand which WZS policies work and which could use revision to ensure better outcomes. Recognizing this is a multi-agency issue, we are pleased to have OSHA's Deputy Assistant Secretary James Frederick provide additional insight. Attendees will be able to: • Understand the current landscape about why it's so difficult to adequately protect road construction workers • Learn what tools are currently available and what might be implemented to better protect road construction workers • Hear from state industry representatives about successfully advocating for policies that help ensure road construction worker safety
